Terncy Home Center Log Management
Log management is a feature in Terncy Home Center to help user send information back to Terncy workers to debug or analysis cause of errors users encountered.
In order to ensure your privicy is protected, the log management actions must be started by the owner of the Home Center. And only Terncy system running logs are included, no user personal information nor WiFi credential are included. The data will be tranported and saved encrpted.
How to
Upload the log if the Home Center is connected to internet
- Tap the “☰” icon in the top left corner to show Home Center list
- Tap the gear icon to the right of Home Center
- Tap Log Management entry
- Tap Upload Log entry
- Tap upload log button to start, get back to this page after 5 minutes to check if it’s finished
- Tap the share button to the right and share the QR code to Terncy support
Dowload the log to your phone if the Home Center is connected to LAN only
- Tap the “☰” icon in the top left corner to show Home Center list
- Tap the gear icon to the right of Home Center
- Tap Log Management entry
- Tap Download Log entry
- Tap downlaod log button to start, wait about 3 to 5 minutes till it’s finished
- Tap the share button to the right and share the log file to Terncy support
Note
- It’s prohibited to upload log too frequently, should not do it again within 5 miuntes after the last operation was finished
- Home Center will only keep recored of the last successful uploading / downloading
